Dear Friends,
We are in this beautiful season of Christmas. Many saints have had the joy to contemplate and even hold baby Jesus in their arms. One of them was Saint Catherine of Siena. Once, she had a vision in which the Virgin Mary appeared to her adoring the newborn Child. She begged the Virgin to allow her to hold the baby in her arms for a moment. The Virgin, smiling, handed the Baby Jesus to her. In Garabandal we know that the Virgin sometimes appeared with the Child Jesus. The girls gave Him gifts and treated Him and his Mother with simplicity and confidence. Conchita says, “Since we liked to make the Child Jesus laugh, we used to take stones and play with them. I put them in my braids, Loli put them in her sleeves and Jacinta gave them to Him. He smiled a lot." And you? What did you give Him this Christmas? There is still time. What He wants most is your humble and simple heart open to His will and His word. In these times the Lord asks total and limitless confidence of us. Let's give Him this confidence.
