This website describes the events that took place in San Sebastián de Garabandal in Cantabria, Spain, starting in 1961. We do not intend to supplant the definitive judgment regarding the events that took place in Garabandal. Such judgment belongs to the authority of the Catholic Church alone, to which we submit ourselves.

March 2021

Dear friends,

We have already begun Lent. The current situation of society and the world should not distract us from what is most important: living in union with Our Lord and preparing ourselves for Easter by penance, that is, with a conversion of heart. During the "strong" liturgical seasons, it helps to make a resolution. This could be to dedicate more time to prayer, to pray the daily rosary, or to do some penance or fasting. Whatever it be, we do so not to be seen by others but by God alone Who will reward us in secret. It is a time to enter into our heart and find Him. We must be especially attentive to not let ourselves be carried away by the mundane, worldly and horizontal view, but to raise our gaze to Heaven. It is a time of recollection, that is, to meditate within our heart, striving for constant conversation with the One who loves us. We can talk with Him and with Our Mother whenever we want.
The end of this month links us with the celebration of Holy Week. Whatever our external situation may be, nothing can prevent us from living this strong time as God wishes with a heart open to Him, with an attitude of conversion and with a great desire to be among those who truly console Him.
