Mario Artuo Ojeda Morelos is from Mexico. He is the nephew of the renowned Fr. Gustavo Morelos, a main promoter of Garabandal in his country. Mario is convinced that, if he recovered from a severe case of peritonitis, it is thanks to Our Lady of Carmel of Garabandal. That is why he is very interested in making known the movie Garabandal: Only God Knows. This is what he tells us.

I introduce myself as your brother in Jesus. I am Mario Arturo Ojeda Morelos and I am from Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico, a city located in the center of the Mexican Republic.
In 1968, I was 13 years old and was in my second year of secondary school. In mid-March my school organized a day-trip to a park near the city. A few days later I began to feel ill, with a fever of 39/40ºC (102/104ºF), which lasted a few days. The doctor thought that it was indigestion and prescribed a laxative, which was given to me immediately. A few days went by without any improvement. My parents decided to get a second opinion. The doctors came to the conclusion that it was a case of apendicitis, but the laxative had caused a “severe case of peritonitis.” An emergency surgery was necessary. It lasted severeal hours and they discovered that was there a large perforation in my intestine. Thanks be to God, I came out of that operation.
A few days later, another serious crisis took place. Due to the infection, more of my intestine had to be removed. Ten days later, another operation was necessary because my intestine was not responding. We understood from the doctors commentaries that there were even less possibilities for survival.
During the whole illness, Fr. Gustavo Morelos (my mother’s brother), who was in Italy, had placed me under the protection of Our Lady of Carmel of Garabandal and Padre Pio. He had personally visited Pietralcina and had been in Garabandal from the beginning of the apparitions. He shared videos with us, brought objects that had been kissed by Our Lady, and relics from the Pines of Garabandal and from Padre Pio. Fr. Gustavo Morelos promoted these events in all of Mexico, always with the permission from the bishops in the different dioceses.
Fifty years have gone by since then. That is why I would like to share my experience in thanksgiving to God Our Lord, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel of Garabandal, and Padre Pio, along with all of those who prayed for my recovery.
United in God’s will. Fiat, fiat, fiat!!!
